Red Velvet Cake

This is a moist and tender Red velvet cake, which is a dessert in its own right, Perfect cake for holidays, birthdays, weddings, valentine’s day or any occasion.
PREP TIME : 30 minutes
COOK TIME : 40 minutes

INGREDIENTS
 

  • 230 g Self raising flour
  • 230 g sugar
  • 3 g Salt
  • 7 g cocoa powder
  • 6 g Baking soda
  • 4 g Red food coloring
  • 150 ml Hot water
  • 3 Eggs
  • 180 g Butter milk
  • 10 g Vanilla
  • 30 g Oil
  • 60 g Melted butter
  • 15 g Vinegar

FROSTING

  • 300 g Cream cheese
  • 300 g Icing sugar
  • 200 g Liquid cream

INSTRUCTIONS
 

  • 1 - Preheat the oven at 340F / 170 C
    2 - Sift and combine all the dry ingredients
    3 - Mix red food coloring with hot water, addvanilla oil melted butter vinegar and eggs, and    combine all. add more food coloring in need.
    4 - Grease the cake pan with butter or oil, and putthe batter on it.
    5 - Bake it at 340F about 40 minutes, or untilcooked. Once baked, cool in the tins for 15 minutes, then turn out onto acooling rack to cool completely.
    6 - Cut the red velvet cake in 3 layers
    7 - For the frosting, soften the cream cheese andadd icing sugar and mix, add liquid cream and mix on high for 3-4 minutes untilfluffy.
    8 - 8Layer the cakes with the frosting, then add alayer all around the cake.
    9 - Finish off with roses and sprinkles.
